Orderable now, not yet delivered
Volvo opened US orders for the EX60 on May 18, 2026, with announced MSRPs and EPA ratings, but US deliveries haven't started. In June, Volvo said they would begin later in 2026, and in late September its US site still invited shoppers to sign up to hear when test drives open. Production began in April 2026 at Volvo's Torslanda plant in Sweden. That's why this page treats the EX60 as upcoming: the prices are Volvo's announced MSRPs, and specs can still change before launch.
Trims and pricing
Volvo names EX60 versions by powertrain and equipment level. The rear-drive P6 Plus starts at $58,400 and the P6 Ultra at $65,000; the dual-motor P10 AWD Plus is $60,750 and the P10 AWD Ultra $67,350. Those MSRPs exclude a $1,395 destination fee, which is why volvocars.com shows a $59,795 starting price. Ultra adds ventilated Nappa leather upholstery and a 28-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system. Volvo says a P12 AWD powertrain will follow at a later date, with no US price yet.
Range: 295 to 330 miles EPA
EPA rates the P6 at 307 miles on 20- or 21-inch wheels and 295 miles on 22-inch wheels, and the P10 AWD at 330 and 312 miles on the same sizes. We couldn't confirm which trims offer 22-inch wheels, so our trim rows carry each powertrain's full span. At 330 miles, the P10 AWD has the longest EPA range of any Volvo in our database, ahead of the EX90's 305. EPA efficiency is 29 kWh per 100 miles for the P6 and 30 for the P10 AWD in their longest-range configurations.
Charging: native NACS and 16-minute fast charging
The EX60 is Volvo's first car with a native NACS port, and Volvo says Plug & Charge will work at Tesla Superchargers and IONNA stations once US deliveries begin. Volvo quotes 10% to 80% in as little as 16 minutes for both launch powertrains, at peak rates of 320 kW for the P6 and 370 kW for the P10 AWD. At home, the onboard charger accepts up to 19.2 kW, but Volvo quotes Level 2 times at 48 amps: about 8 hours for the P6 and 9 for the P10 AWD.
Performance, towing and space
The P6 is rear-wheel drive with 369 hp and a 5.7-second 0-60, per Volvo. The dual-motor P10 AWD makes 503 hp and does 0-60 in 4.4 seconds. Volvo lists battery capacities of 83.0 kWh for the P6 and 95.0 kWh for the P10 AWD, and tow ratings of 3,600 and 4,500 pounds. The EX60 seats five, with 18.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats and a 2.1-cubic-foot front trunk, and Volvo says it is prepared for bi-directional charging.
How it compares
BMW's iX3 50 xDrive is the closest rival in our database: $61,500, up to 434 miles of EPA range and a native NACS port, but a slower 21-minute 10–80% charge. Audi's Q6 e-tron starts at $64,500 with 301 to 325 miles, a 21-minute charge and, for 2027, still a CCS1 port. Tesla's Model Y Premium AWD costs less, at $49,990, with 327 miles. The EX60's strengths are its 16-minute charging and a starting price below the BMW's and the Audi's.

What is the range of the 2027 Volvo EX60?
EPA rates the rear-drive P6 at 307 miles on 20- or 21-inch wheels and 295 miles on 22-inch wheels. The dual-motor P10 AWD is rated at 330 and 312 miles on the same wheel sizes, the longest EPA range of any Volvo in our database. Efficiency is 29 kWh per 100 miles for the P6 and 30 for the P10 AWD.
How fast does the Volvo EX60 accelerate 0-60 mph?
Volvo quotes 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds for the rear-drive P6, which makes 369 hp, and 4.4 seconds for the dual-motor P10 AWD, which makes 503 hp. The Plus and Ultra equipment levels share their powertrain's figures. A P12 AWD powertrain is due later, but Volvo hasn't given it a US price.
How long does the Volvo EX60 take to DC fast-charge?
Volvo quotes 10% to 80% in as little as 16 minutes for both the P6 and the P10 AWD, at peak rates of up to 320 kW and 370 kW. At home, Volvo lists about 8 hours (P6) or 9 hours (P10 AWD) for a full charge on a 48-amp Level 2 charger; the 19.2 kW onboard charger can take more on a higher-amperage circuit.
Does the Volvo EX60 have a Tesla (NACS) charging port?
Yes. The EX60 is the first Volvo with a native NACS port, so it can use Tesla Superchargers without an adapter, and Volvo says Plug & Charge will work there and at IONNA stations once US deliveries begin. Charging at J1772 Level 2 stations needs an adapter.
When will the Volvo EX60 arrive in the US?
Volvo opened US orders on May 18, 2026 and said in June that US deliveries would begin later in 2026. As of late September 2026, deliveries hadn't started, and volvocars.com still asked shoppers to sign up to hear when test drives open. Production began at Volvo's Torslanda plant in Sweden in April 2026.
How much can the Volvo EX60 tow?
Volvo rates the rear-drive P6 to tow up to 3,600 pounds and the dual-motor P10 AWD up to 4,500 pounds. Towing cuts an EV's range sharply, so plan charging stops around a much shorter distance than the EX60's 295-to-330-mile EPA ratings.
Volvo EX60 vs BMW iX3: which is better?
On the figures in our database, BMW's iX3 50 xDrive goes further, up to 434 miles of EPA range against the EX60 P10 AWD's 330, and starts at $61,500. The EX60 charges faster (16 minutes 10–80% against 21) and starts lower with the $58,400 P6 Plus, and both have native NACS ports. Remember that EX60 deliveries haven't begun yet.
How much cargo space does the Volvo EX60 have?
Volvo lists 18.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats with the second row up, plus a 2.1-cubic-foot front trunk, and the EX60 seats five. That's less than the 30.2 cubic feet Audi lists for the Q6 e-tron, though makers don't all measure cargo the same way.
Will the Volvo EX60 offer all-wheel drive?
Yes — the Volvo EX60 is offered in both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. RWD trims are typically less expensive and slightly more efficient; AWD trims add a second motor for better traction in snow/rain and faster acceleration.
How many people does the Volvo EX60 seat?
The Volvo EX60 seats 5.
Does the 2027 Volvo EX60 qualify for a federal EV tax credit?
No. The federal Clean Vehicle Credit (IRC §30D) expired on September 30, 2025 under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act — no new EVs purchased on or after October 1, 2025 qualify. State incentives remain available: see our /deals page for current rebates in California, Maine, Colorado, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and other states. The Section 30C EV Charger Tax Credit (for home charger installation) expired June 30, 2026 — if your charger was placed in service on or before that date, you can still claim it (30% up to $1,000) on your 2026 return via IRS Form 8911.
How long will the Volvo EX60 battery last?
Real-world data from EV fleets suggests modern lithium-ion EV batteries (2020+) retain roughly 85–90% of their original capacity at 100,000 miles and 80–85% at 200,000 miles.
What is the Volvo EX60 battery warranty?
We don't have battery-warranty terms for the Volvo EX60 on file yet, so check the Volvo warranty booklet for this model. Among the EV battery warranties we track, most run 8 or 10 years and at least 100,000 miles, and the guaranteed capacity floor varies by maker: 70% is the most common, some guarantee 75%, and a few state no floor at all.
